QR Direct (“the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
- No data collection: The app does not collect, upload, or sell any personal information. It contains no ads or third-party analytics SDKs, and it does not track you.
- Photo access: The app reads your photo library only after you grant permission, to find images that contain QR codes. All recognition happens on your device, and your photos never leave it. You can change or revoke access at any time in Settings.
- Local storage: Scan results, favorites, and settings are stored only on your device (including storage shared with the Home Screen widget) and are removed when you delete the app.
- Network requests: The app does not make its own network requests; everything runs on your device (In-App Purchase is handled by Apple).
- External services: When you open a link from a QR code, a Quick Link, or WeChat Scan, you are taken to that app or website, whose provider is responsible for its content and privacy practices.
- In-App Purchase: Pro is purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Payment information is handled by Apple and is not available to the app.
- Children: The app does not collect information from children under 13.
