Sesa ("the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
The app requires no sign-up or login. It does not collect, upload or sell any personally identifiable information, and it does not track you for advertising.
The app uses the microphone only when you start music recognition. Recognition is performed with Apple's ShazamKit. Audio is used only to create a signature for matching and is never recorded, stored, or sent to us. You can turn off microphone access for the app in Settings at any time.
Your favorite songs, search history and search platform settings are stored only on your device. They are removed when you delete the app.
When you search, the keywords you enter are sent directly to the search services of QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music and Kugou Music to get results. Those requests are handled by each platform under its own privacy policy. The app does not keep them.
When you open a song, the app opens the matching music app (including Apple Music) or web page. What happens there is governed by that platform's terms and privacy policy.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Any update to this policy will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
